Das Triest is a luxury hotel in the heart of Vienna, about 5 minutes from the State Opera, 10 minutes from St. Stephen’s Cathedral, and 5 minutes from the "Naschmarkt" market area and the Mariahilfer Straße (shopping street).

Designed by the famous interior architect Sir Terence Conran, Das Triest is considered to be the masterpiece of hotel design in Austria.

With the opening of the hotel in 1995, Vienna finally had its own hip and modern hotel - a sharp contrast to the city's charming, late 19th-century Art Nouveau architecture.

The former coach station and horse stable on the route from Vienna to Trieste, also known as the “City of Trieste”, was renovated and converted into a unique and contemporary 5-star hotel. The old cross-vaulted rooms, which give the building a distinctive flair, were transformed into lounges, suites and meeting rooms.

The hotel offers 72 spacious rooms which are divided into 3 different categories. The suites, junior suites as well as the standard rooms welcome you with the comfort of a deluxe hotel, and some rooms even offer their own garden. The hotel's rooms are a true home away from home.

Enjoy the hotel's wide range of culinary delicacies, featuring modern interpretations of Italian dishes, particularly from the Friuli and Collio regions.

The restaurant is open Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 14:30 and Monday to Saturday from 18:30 to 22:00 (last order). It is closed on Sundays and public holidays.

By public transport:
Leave "Karlsplatz" station (U1, U2, U4) at the exit "Wiedner Hauptstrasse", pass the Technical University and walk straight ahead (approx. 300 metres).

The hotel is not accessible for disabled people.
